Opening of the “Byblos” exhibition at the Arab World Institute
Partner Fine Art is proud to be involved in organizing the upcoming Byblos exhibition at the Arab World Institute in Paris.
For this project, our team worked on-site for four weeks to unpack the crates, handle the artwork, and install it in the IMA’s exhibition spaces.
Most of the artworks on display come from Lebanon. Their transport was organized in collaboration with our local agent, Capit Logistic, which coordinated the shipment of the crates from Beirut. The works were shipped to Paris in three air shipments, comprising some thirty crates received and handled by our teams. A larger mosaic, meanwhile, was shipped by sea.
During the project, our installers and foreman unpacked the artifacts, inspected their condition, and prepared them for installation. Some tasks required specialized handling equipment, including the use of a large gantry crane equipped with a six-meter beam to precisely position several anchors and other archaeological objects on a central display platform in the exhibition.
This project demonstrates Partner Fine Art’s expertise in the logistical and technical coordination of exhibition projects, from organizing and arranging transportation to installing complex works in museums.
We would like to thank the team at the Arab World Institute and our partner Capit Logistic for their collaboration on this project.
The Byblos exhibition is open to the public at the Arab World Institute from March 24 to August 23, 2026.
