Partner Fine Art, transport and logistics of works of art

Epidemics, caring for the living

As the memory of the Covid-19 epidemic and the tragedies of the past begin to fade, Lyon's Musée des Confluences takes a look back at the history of epidemics that the planet and all living beings have had to contend with over the millennia.

With dozens of lenders, over a hundred works of art and numerous couriers to coordinate, Partner Fine Art's expertise was put to work on this project. As some of the lenders located in regional areas could not be transported all the way to Lyon in one piece, it was necessary to arrange secure parking with partners (transporters, etc.) or security personnel (gendarmerie barracks, etc.). Many of the fragile works had to be custom crated and secured, requiring delicate and meticulous packaging for delivery to Lyon, which had to be coordinated with a busy installation schedule.
