Partner Fine Art, transport and logistics of works of art

Extravagant Renaissance: Geffroy Dumonstier from Rouen to Fontainebleau

From October 1 to January 4, the Archives départementales de Seine Maritime present a superb exhibition of works by engraver and illuminator Geoffroy Dumonstier.

Co-curated by the Archives, the Louvre (Department of Graphic Arts) and the Bibliothèque nationale de France, the tour features around 100 engravings, sculptures and manuscripts that our teams have carefully packed and transported from the lenders' storerooms to the Pôle culturel Grammont in Rouen.

Over the course of a week, the project mobilized a dozen drivers and installers, as well as five art trucks to transport, unpack and install the works. Throughout the organization, upstream of the operations and during their execution, Partner Fine Art made its expertise available to the Rouen Archives, offering them a tailor-made service that was constantly readapted to the immediate challenges and needs of the site.
